Clock Tower in Tripoli
It is also called the Hamidia Clock Tower. Located in the center of Tripoli’s Hill Square.
the Clock Tower is one of the most important and beautiful monuments in the city, dating back to 1901 and 1902, 30 m long, divided into 5 floors.
This unique memorial building was donated to Tripoli by Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II, marking the 25th anniversary of his accession to the throne. Almost two years ago, however, the tower was extensively restored and a modern lighting system was installed to highlight its architectural beauty at night.
