The Meim Museum is one of beirut’s most beautiful and visited tourist destinations, a scientific museum located on the campus of St. Joseph’s University in Beirut, and its name is “Mem” as an abbreviation of the phrase “Museum of Metal and Mine”.

The unique Mem Museum offers you a variety of stones and minerals that are displayed as found in nature, without human interference in their formation. The museum is owned by a Lebanese chemical engineering specialist, Salim Edh, who has collected 1,480 museum exhibits from more than 65 countries, from international auctions and through the Internet for the past 16 years.
