René Mouawad Green Garden in downtown Beirut, opened to the public in 2014, after being restored and rehabilitated, to be the largest public park in Beirut. People flee the hustle and bustle of the city to find tranquility, greenery and many facilities designed with international standards, making it one of beirut’s most prominent tourist destinations, especially for families, with a huge fountain, bicycle lanes, children’s play areas and exhibition and reading spaces.
